IQSTEL Inc. ($IQST) is advancing its digital content strategy by projecting substantial revenue from its mobile-first microdrama subscription service. The company estimates that with 300,000 active paid monthly subscribers, consumer billings could reach between $14.4 million and $21.6 million annually, generating a potential profit contribution of $1.8 million to $3.6 million per year. This new service offers short, serialized stories designed specifically for smartphones, priced around $4 to $6 per month, and leverages IQSTEL’s existing telecommunications infrastructure to deliver and monetize premium vertical entertainment through carrier billing. The company has also released an original microdrama demo to showcase this innovative format and its monetization model, signaling a shift toward higher-margin, recurring digital revenue streams beyond traditional telecom services.
Complementing this initiative, IQSTEL is targeting a significant expansion of its IDILIO TV platform, aiming to reach a potential mobile audience of 40 million users by mid-2027 and secure 500,000 gross subscribers by year-end. This effort builds on IQSTEL’s extensive global telecom footprint, which includes commercial ties with over 600 operators across 24 countries, providing access to roughly 2.3 billion end users. By repurposing its carrier relationships and billing infrastructure, IQSTEL plans to transform its network from a wholesale voice and messaging provider into a scalable content distribution platform that supports premium digital subscriptions.
On the financial front, IQSTEL is poised for growth following its anticipated acquisition of Ultranet, which is expected to boost the company’s annualized revenue run rate beyond $500 million and expand its operational reach to about 30 countries. The acquisition, combined with a strategic focus on AI-powered digital services, cybersecurity, fintech, and content offerings, is projected to drive adjusted EBITDA above $8 million this quarter, with longer-term targets between $13 million and $15 million. This transition highlights IQSTEL’s ambition to leverage its telecommunications foundation to accelerate profitability through higher-margin technology services, diversifying its revenue base and enhancing investor appeal.
