OrganiGram Holdings Inc. ($ogi) delivered a standout third quarter for fiscal 2026, with revenue surging 49% year-over-year to C$105.8 million and adjusted EBITDA more than doubling to C$13.4 million. This impressive growth was largely driven by the April acquisition of Germany-based Sanity Group, which contributed about C$40 million in revenue and significantly boosted OrganiGram’s international presence. As a result, international operations now account for roughly 35% of the company’s consolidated revenue, up from just 10% before the deal. The company is actively pursuing further expansion in Europe but is still working through challenges related to EU GMP certification and flower supply constraints.
Despite the strong top-line performance, OrganiGram’s free cash flow turned negative due to increased working capital investments to meet rising German demand. Management anticipates a full-year free cash flow shortfall but remains confident in surpassing C$350 million in revenue for fiscal 2026, with expectations for positive free cash flow returning in the fourth quarter. CEO James Yamanaka highlighted that Q3 marks a pivotal moment as the company’s financials now reflect a broader, more diversified cannabis business with growing international contributions. Operational improvements in Canada alongside Sanity’s integration helped lift the adjusted gross margin by 300 basis points year-over-year to 37%, underscoring the company’s improving profitability profile.
Looking back to earlier in 2026, OrganiGram faced some headwinds in its vape and infused pre-roll segments, which led to a 9% revenue decline in the March quarter. However, swift product and operational adjustments have since stabilized performance. The Sanity acquisition has been a key catalyst, with the company expecting Sanity to maintain quarterly revenues near €25 million and drive stronger results in the latter half of the year. Overall, OrganiGram’s strategic pivot towards international markets and operational enhancements are reshaping its growth trajectory as it navigates the evolving cannabis landscape.
U.S. markets are closed this weekend and will reopen on Monday, August 31st, 2026, at 9:30 AM ET.
