$NRXXY Nordex SE has landed a significant contract with Alliant Energy to supply up to 190 advanced wind turbines, specifically the N133 and N163 Delta4000 models, for large-scale renewable energy projects in the Midwest, including Iowa. This deal follows a competitive bidding process and awaits regulatory approval. The turbines, set for installation in 2028 and 2029, are expected to generate up to 1,060 megawatts of clean power once operational. Importantly, these turbines will be produced at Nordex’s manufacturing facility in West Branch, Iowa, where the company recently resumed production of key components like turbine hubs, drivetrains, and nacelles, signaling a boost in local manufacturing jobs and clean energy infrastructure.
Markets will resume trading later today at 9:30 AM ET.
